Food Science and Technology Abstracts (FSTA) is an indexing and abstracting database covering the literature of food science and food technology. Coverage includes all the major food commodities plus animal science, crop science, horticulture, biotechnology, microbiology, food safety (toxicology and hygiene), additives, nutrition, packaging and pet foods. FTSA indexes over 4,600 publications including journals, patents, books, conference proceedings, reports, theses, standards and legislation. It is produced by the International Food Information Service (IFIS), and published in 40 languages. Coverage is from 1969 to the present.[1][2][3]
